Finally, back on track with some old resolutions. Apart of my "Unfinished Business" vein.
A sketched an old portrait of myself eons ago and I left it very rough and didn't really take it anywhere. Here is the link. [link]
Years past and I looked at it again and though "This is probably the most accurate self-portrait of myself that I like." So I decided to try and ink it and color it. I ended up experimenting in this painted look everyone is so keen on. This one was with underpainting. I found underpainting is somewhat useful. It was only useful when it came to the particular brush I created to simulate painted strokes in SAI.
Anyway, I finished it. I'm sure there are tons of flaws but whatever. I thought about putting flowers on the branches but I'm not a flowery kind of soul.
